Our approach to making video documentaries about the artists we work with is to go to the artist's studio and spend a few days with them shooting and interviewing. Having this extra layer of the story behing the artist's work can give us a better understanding and we can connect in a more meaningful way to their art. Our aim is not to capture techniques or just shoot them in the studio working, but through the interview we can get an idea of their motivation or how they overcome their struggles, sometimes changing something ugly into something beautiful.
